Job Title: Geology Core Technician
Location: Copperton, UT
Duration: Contract, 1+ years
Pay rate: $18-$23.75/hr DOE
Shift: 8 days on 6 days off work schedule. Day shift 6 :00am- 4:30pm

Job Responsibilities:
Position is working with a team for above ground exploration
Driving core truck into pit and picking up core and delivering it to the Core warehouse
Core cutting using NTT core saw
Assist with unloading the crated core from the core transport truck
Loading triple-tubed core from the crates to the logging benches
Building core boxes
Boxing triple-tubed core after it has been logged
Palletizing boxed core
The Technician will support logging through the following:
Opening triple tubes
Washing core
Photographing drill core
Moving palletized core to and from the warehouse

Job Requirements:
High School Diploma is required
Clean driving record
0-3+ years experience
Will consider entry level, field technicians and individuals with good mechanical aptitude open for working out at the mine.
If have basic geologic work experience including mapping, preferably in a mining application be a plus.
MSHA certification is a plus
