Executive Director, Non-ProfitOur client, a non-profit organization committed to enriching the lives of underserved people, is seeking a passionate and committed Executive Director with significant executive leadership capabilities. This innovative leader will oversee all aspects of Operations, Administration, and Outreach for the organization. They will also take an active role in hiring, mentoring, and developing capable managers to supervise key functional areas and ensure compliance and quality standards with all local, state, and federal agencies.The Executive Director must have a collaborative, hands-on approach, partnering closely with the Board of Trustees on strategic growth initiatives and planning, with the goal of executing the mission to provide essential services to underserved people by actively providing community opportunities for independence and individual growth. This planning involves the development of short and long-term goals, projections, reporting, and key metrics utilized for decision-making purposes.**Responsibilities** :+ Demonstrate verification that all programs meet the quality standards.+ Exhibit executive leadership in developing short and long-term strategic financial objectives and the accurate analysis of budgets, reviewing monthly with the Board.+ Maintain appropriate staffing levels by focusing on quality hires, ongoing training, coaching, development, and clearly defined and communicated expectations.+ Create and maintain a strong rapport with caregivers, community organizations, and funding sources; participate with related organizations, and identify opportunities for developing ongoing business partnerships.+ Regularly attend the Board of Trustees meetings and work closely with the President to ensure that Trustees are consistently apprised of ongoing activities.+ Demonstrate confirmation that all OSHA, Health Department and other standards are being met for both employees and participants; assuring that facilities are adequately cared for, creating a safe, secure, and inclusive environment, and maintaining all appropriate licenses and certifications.**Qualifications:**+ BS Degree in Business, Administration, Psychology, or Social Work preferred not required.+ A minimum of 5 years prior Executive Director experience and/or experience within leadership roles, preferably within the non-profit industry.+ Outstanding communication, including writing and presentation skills.+ Demonstrated knowledge of working with various community organizations and funding sources, as well as state and federal agencies.+ Experience developing a budget and allocating resources effectively.+ Prior experience working and collaborating with an active Board.**Personal Characteristics:**+ Personal and professional integrity of the highest caliber.+ The ability to overcome obstacles and setbacks while maintaining a positive and optimistic outlook.+ High positive energy with an executive leadership presence to facilitate trusted relationships both internally and externally.+ Capable of balancing both the hands-on, daily operational activities, while overseeing and embracing the mission and 'big picture' strategic efforts.+ Effective at building consensus and creating a healthy culture of accountability.+ Ability to create an environment that encourages and values honest communication, transparency, and feedback.+ Articulate and dynamic communicator, both written and oral, for multiple audiences, with the ability to represent publicly and positively.+ Highly developed interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to manage key relationships, and train, motivate and inspire employees.+ Extremely adaptable, with the ability to learn quickly and prioritize critical tasks._PrincePerelson & Associates is an Equal Opportunity Employer and we do not discriminate against applicants due to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, veteran status, or on the basis of disability or any other federal, state, or local protected class._
