We are seeking a seasoned Senior Product Designer to delight users with simple, engaging web and mobile experiences. You enjoy understanding user and business needs, and designing solutions that reduce friction, build trust, and generate smiles. Your role will be responsible for elegant, intuitive, user-centric design solutions for sellers and bidders across all digital product initiatives. You should like to own projects from beginning to end and are excited to have your designs seen by millions of people. You will identify user problems and solve them through initiating UX research and design initiatives. conduct user-centric research, testing to inform solution design and improvement, including usability testing, surveys, ethnographic research, AB testing, and more. improve the user experience by simplifying user flows and creating iterative UX solutions that remove friction in web, Android, and iOS experiences. create UI design and layouts with the design system. develop sketches, wireframes, and prototypes as needed to explain and test ideas. partner with Product Managers, Front-End Engineers, and other, various team members throughout product conception, design, and implementation in an environment that values rapid iteration. You have demonstrated sophisticated understanding of user-centered design research and principles, with at least 5 years of experience in UX design practice. a degree in design, human computer interaction, or other related field. experience owning and designing mid-to large-scale projects from beginning to final execution and testing. previously designed consumer web or mobile applications (preferably in commerce or gaming). demonstrated design aesthetic with an understanding of typography, grids, visual, UI, and interactive design. expert knowledge of Figma for design, prototyping, and testing. understanding of technologies used to create great digital experiences (e.g. HTML, CSS, Javascript). a passion for finding, learning, and sharing new tools and trends for user experience, interactive, and visual design.
