Job Summary:
A Technical writer will need to translate complex data into text, charts, graphs, and/or tables to be included in scientific assessments. The writer will gather information through online research, statistical reports and discussions with technical staff (including study directors and analysts) and customers. A Technical writer must be able to distill complex information into clear, concise text to outline the use and history of a device and then apply the available data. A writer will have excellent technical writing and grammar skills and be able to work independently, delivering accurate documentation under deadline pressure. A Technical writer will know a variety of software programs in order to create charts, and graphs and incorporate diagrams and photos into documents.

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office and laboratory environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, keyboards, computer mouse, telephones, photocopiers, projectors and file cabinets. Typically works in an office environment but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting. Occasional travel during the business day.
Physical requirements:
Must be able to stand/walk for 10% of the day and 90% of the day sitting at a desk or on the computer. Must be able to occasionally lift a maximum of 45lbs.
