Be a part of one of Utah's fastest growing technology companies. We are currently seeking a creative marketing communications professional to join our team. Our team is responsible for creating marketing materials to promote Monnit's solutions and educate customers. This is a great opportunity to work for an established but flexible company in a great setting.
Responsibilities
Using a mix of creative marketing skills, the objective of this role is to promote and improve brand awareness among partners and customers through; writing compelling sales and marketing copy for a variety of mediums such as web content, blog posts, articles, documentation, advertising copy, white papers, press releases, emails, and social media, proofreading, and monitoring the effectiveness of multiple marketing campaigns.

Successful candidate will be a storyteller/content creator/marketer/PR specialist who has a proven record of exceptional customer service and delivering results.

Core Job Responsibilities

  • Create professional customer-facing content
  • Identify target markets and pathways to effectively target said market
  • Solid understanding of modern social & professional networking platforms
  • Familiarity with the automation of modern social & professional sharing
  • Work with other colleagues and departments to find most effective channels for increasing sales and traffic through strategic cooperation and/or improving productivity
  • Maintain publication calendar (and stick to that calendar) for sharing of campaign collateral
  • Identify vertical-market conferences, expos or other events relevant to our target markets
  • Responsible for organization of potential events and tradeshows
  • Organize and maintain all content
  • Participate on planning process for other marketing initiatives
  • Accurately forecast and achieve specific campaign goals and targets
  • Make root cause analysis for less-than-effective campaigns

Description of Core Work

  • Ideate and implement relationship-based marketing programs to grow product sales, including marketing material production for both print and digital publication
  • Generate a wide range of multi-media editorial content from start to finish including web content, articles, case studies, blog posts, social media content, videos, email marketing campaigns and "knowledge sharing" stories
  • Assist in the design, review and revision of all customer-facing materials ensuring appropriateness of content, readability and accuracy
  • Proofread and ensure all messages are consistent with brand standards
  • Prepare news releases, fact sheets and compose letters as needed
  • Leverage content, looking at how everything produced can be used and scaled
  • Assist with tradeshow registration and preparation processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • 3-5 years in a marketing or communications role
  • Knowledge of various writing techniques including promotional, educational, and technical copy, press releases, white papers and product documentation
  • Exceptional storyteller with a talent for making technical things user friendly
  • Experience managing content and media on social networks
  • Results oriented: consistently delivers a quality work product
  • Highly analytical with a keen attention to detail
  • Creative and resourceful: finds ways to do more with less
  • Comfortable creating and testing new and innovative marketing ideas
  • Able to excel under pressure while using sound judgment and maintaining standards
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Flexible: able to multitask, adjust to changing parameters and priorities in order to handle many assignments simultaneously
  • Strong organization, decision-making and prioritization skills
  • Self-motivated: work efficiently with minimum supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to lead select training sessions
  • Highly proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
