Description

The Sr. Manager of IT Infrastructure is responsible for all of Control4's global corporate infrastructure. Infrastructure includes perimeter and internal security, physical and virtual servers, storage, network, desktops, and standard desktop applications. The position is all responsible for environmental software in support of the aforementioned infrastructure. This position fulfills key responsibilities in ensuring a cyber-safe enterprise for Control.

ITEMIZED DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Manage teams of infrastructure, service, and security specialists ensuring the technology environment is always current, secure, and up to date.
  • Actively engaged in building a secure enterprise and leverages internal and external expertise to verify level of security.
  • Strategically identify, plan, and execute competitive advantages and technological trends for the benefit of Control4.
  • Build strong technical and service relationships with partners and technical consumers throughout Control4.
  • Manage IT infrastructure and security services to meet or exceed Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Ensures IT's total cost of ownership is proactively managed, including budget, contracts, and solution mix. Proactive manages vendor relationships
  • Lead team to excellence in term of planning and execution of IT projects and initiatives.
  • Mentors and challenges team members to continuously raise their performance and positive impact to Control4.
  • Maintains broad understanding of newest technology and trends.
  • Other duties as assigned.

NEEDED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 5-10 years of progressive IT engineering and leadership experience managing IT infrastructure and Security.
  • Self-Starter who digs in and can move the organization forward.
  • Team player who can coach, mentor, and inspire their team and support other IT teams and the business.
  • Must have solid analytical and organizational skills.
  • Must have strong project planning and project management experience.
  • Excellent communications skills including oral and written are required.
  • Able to craft and deploy technical policies in highly effective manner.
  • Strong experience in driving organizations to achieve industry or regulatory compliance.
