Job Description

StorageCraft is looking to expand our Salesforce team with an experienced Salesforce Admin who will elevate the way that we are using the Salesforce Sales Cloud by consulting closely with the Sales group to transform the user experience for our sales teams.  A successful candidate will spend time to understand the business and will embrace the challenge of solving critical business problems and act as the knowledge expert for evolving new processes within the Salesforce Sales Cloud.

The right candidate is a big-picture thinker, who has worked closely with sales teams before, is a detail-oriented doer who is adept at understanding business needs, translating them into technology specifics and working in a cross-functional team to build and implement solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own the adoption and efficient use of SFDC by the WW sales team
  • Consult with sales team daily to identify, strategize, and implement needed enhancements and changes to the SFDC platform.
  • Champion Salesforce best practices throughout the Company
  • Design and implement reports, analysis, and dashboards to support the Sales efforts of the Company
  • Understand, analyze and transform business objectives and functional requirements into technical Salesforce solutions
  • Must be comfortable leading training sessions for large groups of sales users
  • Must have a deep understanding of scalable solutions and Salesforce best practices
  • Manage day to day SFDC Admin activities
  • Creation and modification of Global Price Books for SaaS and Appliance business.
  • In the case of Mergers and Acquisitions working in multiple SFDC instances.
  • Consulting and implementing Territory carving and reassignments
  • Working with the SFDC Forecasting tools.
  • Optimization and implementation of SFDC Lead management cycle and Marketo.
  • Configuring CPQ (Configure, Price and Quote) for internal sales and channel sales within the Partner Community.
  • Maintain User Roles, Security, and Profiles
  • Serve as a 'go to' person for Salesforce for internal business owners throughout the company
  • Train end users and prepare related documentation (training materials, process and data flows, and use cases)
  • Remain current on Salesforce best practices, technologies, and certifications.
  • Coordinate with development team and group manager throughout development lifecycle to ensure requirements are developed and delivered to specification.
  • Assist with project management, planning and coordination activities.
  • Exhibit flexibility in handling multiple tasks in this fast-paced IT environment.
  • Proactively identify and resolve Salesforce related issues


  • Certified Salesforce Admin
  • 4+ years of Salesforce experience
  • Experience working with sales teams and marketing operations
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ
  • Experience with Salesforce Partner Communities
  • Prior experience with Salesforce Lightning
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce Chatter including Best Practice.
  • Deep understanding of roles, profiles, sharing rules, permission sets, and the Salesforce security model
  • Knowledgeable in workflow rules, field updates, email alerts, validation rules, process builder, and other Salesforce automation tools
  • Strong background with data management tools like Data Loader and import wizards
  • Capable of building complex reports and dashboards
  • Proficient in all aspects of Salesforce Sales Cloud
  • Ability to understand business process and translate that into system development needs
  • Experience writing user stories and working with teams to execute
  • Ability to generate business process/workflow diagrams
  • Proficiency quantifying results through trend analysis and metrics
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Enthusiastically connect with users and share CRM system knowledge and best practices
  • Excellent problem solving, consultative and influencing skills
  • Demonstrate excellence in communicating and presenting complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders, both orally and in writing
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Driven, self-starter who can manager him/herself
  • Should have a very positive attitude at work and easy to work with
  • Proven experience with business process optimization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator/Platform I certification
  • Experience in Salesforce Support Cloud and Customer Community
  • Experience working with Audit and SOX teams
  • Prior experience with the multi-tier distribution or channel-based Go-To-Market strategy is highly preferred
  • Solid understanding of Apex code and triggers
  • Experience working with off-shore developers
  • Experience with DemandTools
  • Experience with Marketo
  • BS, BA, or Advanced Educational Achievement
