You could call this position an Inside Sales Manager, Account Relationship Manager, Territory Management, or Account Development. All of those job titles similarly describe this no travel, no field work, no direct reports, commission-based sales role. 

If you are skilled at handling outbound calls directly to existing company clients/dealers than click apply now! As a Control4 ISM you'll contact dealers and help them build their business.  You'll be responsible for building and maintaing a strong relationship with them and be the main point of contact to notify them about changes and updates to our products. You will also reach out to a dealer whose sales have slipped to excite them and re-invigorate them about our brand and product line up.  You'll be THE person that creates the "stickiness" that maintains an awesome relationship between the dealer and Control4.

ITEMIZED DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

 This team will have two main areas of focus:  This is a business-to-business sale opportunity. Transactional focus, comfortable with a quota carrying position. Occasional involvement in outside sales with dealer support. Frequent contact with manager. Learn the full range of Control4 technology, products, and services and is able to articulate to dealers how these products and services align to their customer needs. Explains technical, industry, and market facts to position Control4 as a competitive solution. Cooperates and collaborates with colleagues, cross-functionally, to support the sales process.

NEEDED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with Salesforce is required to contribute and update data for understanding/segmentation of dealer base
  • Self-motivated with a high attention to detail and ability to multitask. An unwavering positive attitude, strong drive for results, and the ability to deal with ambiguity are a must
  • Need to be familiar with computers and technology and comfortable using the Microsoft Windows operating system, Microsoft Outlook, and Salesforce
  • Need to be comfortable working with others and in a team environment
  • Must be open to receiving constructive criticism (feedback), applying, and integrating the feedback in an effort to improve their results
  • Demonstrates good judgment in analyzing information to make routine decisions
  • 1-3 years software or enterprise selling a plus (but not required)
  • Experience in the CEDIA or consumer electronics channel, a plus
  • Knowledge can be demonstrated either through direct experience or similar experiences through internships
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Thorough knowledge of the concepts, practices and procedures of an outbound telesales center
  • Proven customer service skills, sales experience and leadership ability. Sound decision-making and analytical skills, drive and desire to succeed
  • Experience with CRM databases
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • BS Business, related field or 5-7 years' experience, in lieu of degree
  • Prior call center sales experience and sales management experience
  • Experience in B2B and B2C telemarketing and sales
  • Experience in consumer technology, CEDIA, or parallel industries such as security, lighting, cable/satellite
