Description:

i.t.NOW is currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced Outside Sales Person to maintain our current customers and develop new customers. The candidate will have previous experience in information technology, sales and contract development; coming preferably from a commission sales background. This individual will be working with new and existing small and medium business clients to price, quote, order and provide technical product information. Must have a strong interest in new technologies and products; being able to present pros and cons of such to management. Candidate must be able to make recommendations regarding implementation of new services and products. This position reports directly to Operation Manager.

Duties:

Develop new business through prospecting and leads
Schedule initial presentation and sales meetings with clients
Follow-up sales/emails as necessary to close sales process
Provide client proposal of recommended services and products
Close sales process with client
Complete negotiation and ordering of products
Meet and exceed goals provided by management to ensure service levels are met, ie: opportunities, bids provided, contracts signed, etc.
Assist existing clients in new purchases and work with clients to create technology lifecycle
Handle all contract renegotiations and signings
Provide monthly reporting of activities and accomplishments
Accurately and thoroughly document client information, issues, projects, activities and sales orders using company tools
Update client and internal support staff with status information
Provide courteous and professional assistance to clients regarding services and products offered
Effectively handle and close direct conversations and queries regarding potential purchases and services
Other duties as assigned by management

Energetic, enthusiastic, positive and upbeat
Adaptable to change
Professional in demeanor and appearance
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Ability to overcome objection
Minimum 5 years of sales experience with responsibility for closing sales
Must have in depth knowledge of servers and workstations, network operating systems and peripherals
Excellent prospecting, cold-calling and customer service skills
Possess proven closing techniques throughout the sales cycle, knowledge of account development strategies
Strong planning and forecasting skills
