We are looking for a motivated, dedicated professional who wants to combine their skills with our uniquely talented team to change the current paradigm of drug discovery and development. This candidate will be working in our Salt Lake City, Utah location.
Reporting to the Program Manager Drug Discovery, this position is responsible to assist in the project planning process and perform a variety of highly responsible and confidential functions at the Salt Lake laboratory. The job requires excellent communication, multi-tasking, problem solving, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Duties: |
Assist the Program Manager with daily project administration duties
Organize and assist with managing project team meetings, interactions and communications
Attend project team meetings to record discussions; prepare meeting minutes
Support coordination of project activities between functional areas
Support the project planning process within the scope of an approved and realistic project plan
Create, update and maintain project plans and timelines with the assistance of team members
Coordinate outsourcing of project-related studies
Work with lab managers to establish appropriate data collection and reports
Maintain, distribute, file, and archive project documentation to ensure historical project information is organized and accessible
Create and transfer discovery reports and documentation of all experimental data relating to individual projects
Receive, review, coordinate, and reply to inquiries and requests for information related to program data

Qualifications: |
B.S. degree with 2+ years related work experience or M.S. degree in a biology-based discipline
Experience in project management and an advanced understanding of oncology, cell biology or molecular biology is highly desirable
Experience with Microsoft Office software is essential and experience with Microsoft Project is desirable
Must be detail oriented, adaptive, demonstrate flexibility with changing priorities, and adept at handling multiple priorities with aggressive timelines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential for this position
